Overview
The G3-SSI2 module handles 2 fully configurable SSI inputs for reading signals with 24, 25 or 32 bit data format, binary or gray coding, output clock frequency from 10kHz to 2MHz.
As fast counting events, 2 digital 24Vdc outputs are available directly on the board.
The module provides diagnostics in case of external power failure and interrupted sensor connection.
The minimum sampling time for 2 channels is 30µs depending on the configured clock type and the number of transmitted bits.
G3-SSI2 can be used with all the G-Mation gateways and CPU’s from which it receives power supply.
