Technical specifications
Overview
G3-ECAT is a communication interface between G-Mation G3 family I/O modules and the Ethercat communication network.
All I/O modules connected to G3-ECAT are visible to the master as separated and independent Ethercat nodes.
G3-ECAT supports both external cable redundancy and internal connection redundancy in case of an I/O module fail (only with the supplied bus-end accessory correctly installed).
G3-ECAT provides the power supply for max 20 I/O modules.
